- Features of the press: the press was developed in close cooperation with the customer, a world leader in the manufacturing of structural and aerodynamic parts for racing cars made of carbon fiber. The press features a lower platen which can be moved outside of the press to facilitate the loading/unloading of moulds and also to facilitate the lay-up of the carbon fibre into the mould before moulding. The press is assisted by a robotized unit which allows for parts pick-up from the moulds and deburring of the parts using a water-jet system
